Brazilian legend, Ronaldo Nazario has backed Chelsea-bound forward, Estevao Willian to become the next big star in football.
Ronaldo compared Willian with Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, who is currently the best young player in the world.
Willian has already signed with Chelsea and will join the Premier League giant in the summer of 2025 after he turns 18.
Chelsea has paid an initial €34 million to Palmeiras for the 17-year-old Brazil international, beating several clubs to the signature of the youngster.
Willian has been impressive in the Brazilian top-flight league, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists in just 27 appearances so far this season.
“Estevão is kind of like Lamine Yamal,” Ronaldo told GiveMeSport.
“He will soon be a very big star in football. He’s very promising and at just 17.
“I think he’ll play for Palmeiras at the Club World Cup then join Chelsea.”
