Ojonugwa Adejoh has penned an emotional farewell message to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Abia Warriors, after signing for Tunisian club AS Marsa.
He stated that the memories created with Abia Warriors will remain with him forever.
Adejoh completed his move to AS Marsa this week.
The combative forward registered 12 goals and 12 assists in 82 appearances for the Umuahia‑based club.
Adejoh played a crucial role in Abia Warriors’ third‑place finish in the NPFL last season.
“With 82 league appearances, 12 goals, and 12 assists under the Warriors’ jersey, I’m grateful to the management for believing in me and providing a platform for growth,” Adejoh stated in an address to the club on Facebook.
“To the coaches I’ve had the privilege to play under, your guidance and mentorship have shaped me into a better player and person. Thank you for your tireless efforts.”
