Tinubu’s Minister Predicts APC Victory In 2027 Enugu Guber Election

The Minister of Science and Innovations, Chief Uche Nnaji, over the weekend, urged the people of Enugu State and indeed the South East to sustain their support for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s administration to enable it to continue its transformation of the region through infrastructural development.
Chief Nnaji spoke when he played host to some leaders of different political parties from Nkanu land who were on a solidarity visit to his Akpugo country home in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Nnaji, who was the APC’s governorship candidate in the state during the 2023 general elections, further enjoined his townsmen to be the vanguard of the APC.
He said APC was going to take over Enugu State come 2027, assuring that APC “will establish a human interest government in Enugu State that will be devoid of excessive taxation and ensure social security”.
According to him, the APC government has come “to deliver residents from the shackles of maladministration, plunging business communities into poverty in the state”.
On the crises rocking APC in the state, which resulted in alleged factionalisation and rustication of some executives of the party, Nnaji said the masterminds were “moles and rusticated members who are issuing unauthorised statements on behalf of the party in some parts of the zone”.
One of those on the visit, Chief Oliver Mbah, said they were excited by the technological innovations which Chief Nnaji had initiated since he assumed office as a minister.
