Kolo Muani eyes Juventus return after poor Spurs loan

Randal Kolo Muani could be heading back to Juventus, with the PSG forward keen on a Serie A return.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the France international wants to rejoin the Turin club after a disappointing loan at Tottenham. Talks between PSG and Juventus are now under way.

His spell in north London fell flat. Kolo Muani scored just once in 30 Premier League appearances for Spurs, who narrowly avoided relegation.

Unsurprisingly, the loan will not be made permanent, and he now returns to Paris.

He is not expected to stay there long, however. Kolo Muani is not part of Luis Enrique’s plans at PSG, and a fresh move looks inevitable this summer. Juventus, where he thrived on loan in 2025, are his preferred destination.

The Italian press is in agreement on the player’s stance. Romano, Gianluca Di Marzio and Gazzetta dello Sport all report Juventus have already settled personal terms, reportedly a five-year deal worth around €5m a year. The player’s desire to return is not in doubt.

🚨⚪⚫ Juventus and PSG have now started club to club contacts for Randal Kolo Muani deal.

After personal terms sealed, Juve have

The obstacle, as ever, is the fee. PSG value Kolo Muani at around €40m and want a guaranteed sum, given he still carries a sizeable book value. Juventus have countered in the €30-35m range and are reluctant to go higher.

There is reason for optimism, though. Relations between the clubs have improved since the departure of former Juventus chief Damien Comolli, whose failure to strike a deal last summer sent Kolo Muani to Spurs instead.

His Juventus pedigree explains the appeal. Kolo Muani scored 10 goals in 22 games during his previous loan, quickly becoming a favourite with the Turin support.

He was, notably, left out of Didier Deschamps’ World Cup squad after his struggles in England.

Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming weeks, with the player’s clear preference adding pressure on PSG to find a compromise.
