Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will depart Abuja for Cairo this weekend for their final preparation ahead of the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side arrived Abuja from Katsina for the second phase of their preparation last week.

The seven-time champions will now spend one week in Cairo before the commencement of the competition.

The Flying Eagles will face former champions Tunisia, Kenya and Morocco in Group B.

Nigeria’s opening fixture of the competition is against Tunisia on Saturday, April 28.

The competition will serve as qualifiers for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
