EPL: Liverpool go seven points clear with Leicester win after Chelsea lose
Liverpool have opened a seven-point gap at the top of the Premier League table, following a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Leicester City.
The Foxes shocked Anfield by taking the lead through a smart finish from Jordan Ayew in the first half.
But shortly before the break, Cody Gakpo cut in and fired home the equalizer.
Curtis Jones put the leaders in front for the first time in the game, before Mohamed Salah curled in a third.
The win means that Liverpool now have 42 points after 17 fixtures – they have one game in hand.
Chelsea remain in second with 35 points following a surprise 2-1 home loss to Fulham.
Arsenal will host Ipswich Town on Friday night looking to go second.
