President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday headed back to Abuja after spending over a week in Lagos.

Tinubu had arrived in Lagos on May 27 for the 50th anniversary of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

In a video shared by his special assistant on social media, Mr. Dada Olusegun, Tinubu is seen with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on their way to the airport.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu heads back to Abuja from Lagos after the Eid holidays in Lagos. He was accompanied to the airport by H.E. @jidesanwoolu, the Executive Governor of Lagos,” Olusegun wrote on X.

During his short stay, the president, who was in Lagos for his Eid holidays, commissioned some infrastructure projects.

They include Section I of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the Lekki Deep Sea Port Tax Credit Concrete Road, and the 7th Axial Road, as well as the flagging off of Section II of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.

He also virtually commissioned the Kano-Kanwar-Danja-Hadejiya Section II Road and Yakasai-Zalli Road.

Tinubu further virtually flagged off the Kano Northern Bypass, Zaria-Hunkuyi-Dabai Section I, Dabai-Kafur-Malumfashi, and Malumfashi-Dayi-Yashe-Gidan Mutum Daya Section III projects.
