Real Madrid’s new signing, Dean Huijsen has revealed why picked the number 24 shirt at the Los Blancos.

Recall that Real Madrid recently signed the 20-year-old from Bournemouth.

The Spain international was officially presented as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday.

Speaking on why he picked the number 24 shirt and not the number 4 shirt at Real Madrid, the centre-back said at his presentation on Tuesday: “I am not thinking about the no.4 shirt or any number. Wearing any number here is an honor.

“I chose no.24 because it was available. I am delighted to wear any number here.

“Real Madrid is the club of my life. Thank you and HALA Madrid,” he added.

Meanwhile, David Alaba is currently wearing the number 4 shirt at Real Madrid. The shirt was worn by club legend, Sergio Ramos in the past.
