Why I’ll invest half of my BBNaija prize money — Temi Nkem

Winner of the 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija, Temi Nkem, has revealed plans to invest half of her prize money, saying she also intends to support her parents and donate to charity.
Temi disclosed this during an interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu following her emergence as the winner of the reality show.
The finance student said her understanding of money management influenced her decision to invest a significant portion of her winnings.
“What I want to do firstly is to invest. I am young and obviously studying finance, so I know how money works,” she said.
Temi explained that she had calculated how she intended to allocate the money and even converted the figures into pounds to give herself a clearer perspective.
“I did my calculations of where I am spending my money. I translated them into pounds. I will set half into my investments, some to my parents, and there is a charity I want to donate to. Then the other may be a small percentage to me. Let myself get to breathe,” she said.
Reflecting on her time in the Big Brother house, Temi also revealed that her curious nature contributed to the way some of her fellow housemates treated her.
“Coming into the house, I didn’t know I was going to be pampered. As I was going along, I was asking my questions. People were probably looking at me like I was a curious cat in the house,” she said.
According to her, her constant questions made some of the housemates more willing to look after her.
“So I was asking questions, and people then wanted to pamper me willingly. So I was like, continue,” Temi added.
