Nigerian actress and content creator, Dianee, has said she would accept her husband marrying a second wife, provided he is honest with her and continues to provide for her and their children.
Dianee stated this during an interview with content creator Egungun of Lagos, where she also spoke about her personal life, career and relationship status.
According to the 22-year-old actress, society has evolved to the point where polygamy is no longer something she considers unacceptable.
“Yes, I feel like we are past that now. The society has evolved to making that a normal thing. If you like, marry two or three, so far you are feeding me and my children,” she said.
Dianee stressed that honesty would be more important to her than her husband having another wife.
“It’s not a crime as long as he is honest enough with me, saying, ‘I want to marry this person.’ I can be a second wife, just have money,” she said.
The actress added that she would rather her husband openly marry another woman than cheat on her.
“It’s better for him to marry a second wife than for him to cheat,” she said.
Speaking about her personal life, Dianee revealed that she is currently single and focused on personal growth and her career.
“Right now, I am just trying to work on myself, evolve and also focus on my goals. I am 22 years old, not in a relationship,” she said.
She also disclosed that she earns from YouTube and appealed to her fans to support her movies by watching them.
“YouTube pays. I get paid by YouTube. That’s why I am begging you guys to go watch my movies so I can eat,” she added.
