Adokiye reclaims the spotlight with viral comeback single, ‘Adokiye’

*Launches N300,000 dance challenge

Months after staging a comeback with her smash single “Adokiye” in the UK, the tomboy singer is enjoying a massive resurgence, with the track racking up heavy airplay, strong digital streams, and millions of views.
The single has struck a chord with fans and is helping to relaunch Adokiye’s career into the mainstream music spotlight.
In a chat with NollyNow, Adokiye said she’s been overwhelmed by the love the song has received online.
“The response to Adokiye has been really encouraging. It’s been receiving a lot of love from fans. I’m grateful for everyone who’s listened, shared it, and supported the project,” she said.
“I’m genuinely happy with how the single is performing so far. It’s definitely motivating me to keep creating.”
Not resting on the momentum, Adokiye revealed she’s already working on a follow-up album.
To keep fans engaged, she has also launched a dance challenge for “Adokiye.” Winners will be announced on Friday, July 24. Talented dancers are expected to create a 45-second dance video to the song and post it on Instagram and TikTok, tagging @Adokiye.
Prizes include N150,000 for first place, N100,000 for second place, and N50,000 for third place.
“I promise more great music ahead,” the singer added.
With “Adokiye” gaining traction across platforms, Adokiye Kyrian appears set to reclaim her groove and her spot in the music scene.
