It was a night of glamour, laughter, and big wins last Thursday as telecommunications giant, Globacom, hosted its trade partners to the “2026 Glo Partners’ Reward Gala” at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The exclusive event was put together to celebrate and reward Glo’s business partners nationwide for their performance in the first half of the year, and to spur them to greater heights.
Guests were treated to top-tier entertainment. Legendary singer and live band maestro, Segun Johnson, set the tone with electrifying highlife and Afrobeat renditions that had the audience on their feet all night.
Keeping the energy high was master of ceremony, ace comedian Godwin Komone, popularly known as Gordons. He was ably supported by TV host and brand influencer, Mo Abebe. Brand influencer KieKie also added sparkle to the evening, while Nollywood actor and producer, Toyin Abraham, was on ground to add more colour to the exclusive show.
Globacom organized the event to reward its partners across the country with mouth-watering prizes based on their performance within the first six months of the year and also spur them to a better performance in the years ahead.
In his welcome address, Globacom’s Cluster Head, Lagos 2, Abdul Rasaq Ande, said the gala was organized to celebrate not just individuals, but the synergy and shared vision that drives innovation.
“Our partners have, over the years, been the bedrock of the Globacom ecosystem, and their success is our success,” he said.
“It has been 23 years of technological revolution, innovation and service excellence. We will continue investing heavily in next-generation tools, upgrading our infrastructure, and ensuring our network stays second to none.”
A total of 115 outstanding business partners drawn from across the country and various trade segments were rewarded with millions of Naira in cash and other prizes.
The night was not just about talk, food and drinks. It was also a blend of glamour, laughter, and top-tier entertainment. The highlight of the night was the presentation of brand new cars, including Suzuki Alto, Kia Rio, Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry, to top-performing partners.
Demi Global Resources clinched the night’s biggest prize , the Top National Partner Star Award and drove home a brand-new 2026 Toyota Camry in recognition of its outstanding contribution to Glo’s success nationwide. In the “Rep Your Region” Best Dressed Competition, Alamin Muhammed Suleiman of Benjee Communication and Anthonia Agbasi of Chicadef Global Limited each won ₦500,000 in the male and female categories after dazzling the runway in attires that showcased Nigeria’s rich culture.
Speaking on behalf of the awardees, Managing Director of Demmy Global Resources, Ademola Akinlabi, and Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya of Lambadaya Stores commended Glo for its generosity in rewarding dealers with cars, cash, and other incentives. It was an evening filled with joy, camaraderie, and appreciation, a fitting tribute to excellence and partnership.
Several business partners went home with mouth watering gifts, as part of their prizes. Keys to brand new vehicles, including Suzuki Alto, Kia Rion Toyota Corolla and Toyta Camry were presented to those partners who excelled in various categories.

The event, which ended in the early hours of Friday, again demonstrated Globacom’s enduring focus on recognizing and rewarding excellence among its business partners in order to continue to offer the best services to customers nationwide.
