Galatasaray winger, Dries Mertens, believes Victor Osimhen will have a stellar career, DAILY POST reports.
Osimhen registered an assist for the second consecutive game in Galatasaray’s 3-1 victory over Istanbul rivals, Fenerbahce on Saturday.
The 25-year-old teed up Mertens for Okan Buruk’s side second goal in the 28th minute.
The Belgian stated that it is a good thing Osimhen decided to join the club. “Frankly, I am very happy that he came here. He is an incredible player, I know he can do even better, we will see that in the future,” Mertens told the club’s official website.
“However, it is a great advantage for him to join us. He did not have a good preparation period, but he is a very important player for us and I think he will go to better places.”
