Transfer: Rennes to rival Trabzonspor for Onuachu
Ligue 1 club, Stade Rennes are preparing a summer move for Southampton striker Paul Onuachu.
Onuachu is pushing to leave Southampton following the Saints relegation from the Premier League.
The 31-year-old has also been linked with a return to Turkish Super Lig giants Trabzonspor.
The tall striker spent the 2023/24 season on loan with the Black Sea Storm.
According to French news outlet, Foot-Sur, Rennes’ new sporting director, Loïc Désiré is spearheading the club push for Onuachu.
The Nigeria international has one-year left on his contract with Southampton.
