Liverpool striker, Darwin Nunez is set to leave Anfield as the Reds eye two strikers to sign this summer.
According to football transfer expert, David Ornstein, Liverpool’s next priority signing is a new number nine.

The Premier League champions are interested in Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak and Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike while progress of selling Nunez is expected soon.

Nunez signed for Liverpool after leaving Benfica for a fee of €85m in 2022.

But the Uruguay international has found consistency hard to come by at Anfield.

Nunez scored 25 goals and provided 16 assists in 95 league outings for Liverpool.

However, Arne Slot’s side are in the transfer market for a striker this summer, and will only splash the cash if Nunez leaves.
