Transfer: LaLiga club, Leganes join Dessers race

Spanish outfit, Leganes are the latest club to show interest in Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers.

Dessers is now the third choice striker at Rangers following the emergence of Hamza Igamane and the return of Danilo from injury.

The Nigerian has not started a game since the end of November.

Although he has scored 12 goals, his performances have been inconsistent.

Leganes are hopeful of signing the striker before the end of the month.

The club, based on the outskirts of Madrid, are currently 16th in the La Liga table.

Serie A clubs Cagliari and Empoli have also been linked with a move for the 30-year-old.
