Victor Osimhen has been described as the best striker in the world following his move to Galatasaray.
Italian football agent, George Gardi hailed the Turkish giants for securing the services of the Nigeria International, saying it is the biggest transfer in the history of the Turkish top flight league.
Osimhen was impressive last season when he joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli.
The Turkish giants then had to trigger the player’s €75 million release clause and signed him after weeks of negotiations.
As quoted by habersarikirmizi, Gardi said the former Lille and Napoli striker is the best number 9 in the world.
“It’s one of the biggest transfers in Turkish football history. We got the best number 9 in the world, but the negotiations took a long time. Victor just wanted to come here,” Gardi stated.
He said the move and decision to bring the Nigerian star to Istanbul shows how ambitious the club is.
Osimhen traveled to Galatasaray on Wednesday evening to finalise his transfer and join the team for preseason activities.
