NPFL:Rivers United part ways with Chief Coach Ogenyi

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Rivers United have parted ways with their chief coach, Evans Ogenyi.

Ogenyi left the former NPFL champions following the expiration of his contract.

He was drafted into the Rivers United coaching staff during the 2023-24 NFPL season.

According to reports, Ogenyi is expected team up with a new club ahead of the new season.

He helped Lobi Stars win the NPFL title in 2018.

Ogenyi guided Kano Pillars back to the NPFL in 2023.
