NPFL: Win over Enyimba big motivation for Sunshine Stars – Arunta
Sunshine Stars forward, Elmer Arunta, says their matchday 33 win over Enyimba is a morale booster in their push against relegation.
Elmer Arunta and Waheed Adebayo goals sealed a 2-1 over Enyimba at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode on Sunday.
Arunta admitted that win will motivate the team ahead of subsequent games.
“It was a difficult game, but we remained focused,” Arunta told the club’s media.
“This win will definitely motivate us going forward.”
Sunshine Stars have garnered 38 points from 33 games in the league.
The Akure occupy 19th position on the league table.
