NPFL: Ikorodu City record biggest win of season
Ikorodu City recorded the biggest win in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season, when they thrashed Katsina United 6-0.
Ayomide Cole bagged a brace, with Tosin Oyedokun, Oladimeji Dada, Shola Adelani, and Emmanuel Solomon scoring the other goals.
Nurudeen Aweroro’s side, who are making their maiden appearance in the NPFL, have scored the highest number of goals (48) this season.
The Oga Boys moved up to fourth position on the table following the comfortable victory.
Ikorodu City will host Niger Tornadoes in their next league game at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Sunday.
Katsina United remain in 15th position with 40 points from 32 games.
The Ikon Allah Boys will be away to league leaders Remo Stars on Sunday.
