LaLiga: Iheanacho could leave Sevilla this window – Pimienta

Sevilla manager, Garcia Pimienta has admitted Kelechi Iheanacho is likely to leave the LaLiga club this month.

Iheanacho joined the Rojiblancos on a free transfer last summer.

The Nigeria international has however struggled for regular playing time at the club.

The forward has made nine league appearances, mostly as a substitute for Sevilla.

The 28-year-old is also yet to open his goal account in LaLiga, even though he has scored thrice in the Copa del Rey.

Pimienta revealed that the former Manchester City striker has offers on the table from other clubs.

“We do know that he (Iheanacho) has offers from other clubs, I don’t know if they are really interested, at least, I don’t know if this will end up happening or not, but it is true that he cannot travel due to some minor problems,” the gaffer said during a press conference ahead of his side’s Copa del Rey clash with Almeria.
