Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, has claimed that outgoing Manchester United midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne, could join the Red Devils after leaving Manchester City as a free agent this summer.
The 33-year-old Belgium international has announced his exit from Manchester City at the end of the current season.
The player said he was shocked that Man City decided not to offer him a new deal.
He has since drawn interest from clubs in the United States and Saudi Arabia of late.
Speaking on Sky Sports, former England goalkeeper, Shay Given insisted that the Manchester City side might end up regretting their decision.
And Keane suggested De Bruyne could join Manchester United.
He said, “United? He wouldn’t have to move house,” since both Premier League giants share the same city.
De Bruyne is still regarded as one of the top midfielders in the world.
The former Chelsea star has scored five goals and laid out eight assists in 35 appearances across competitions for Manchester City in the ongoing 2024-25 season.
