EPL: All Man United players up for sale – Stan Collymore declares
Former Liverpool striker, Stan Collymore, has declared that all Manchester United stars could be up for sales.
He encourage new Red Devils boss, Ruben Amorim, to sell most of his current squad so as to be successful in the future.
The Red Devils spent about £180 million on players earlier this summer and are expected to bring in new faces into their ranks to offer a helping hand to Amorim.
Writing on Caught Offside, Collymore claimed that Amorim will succeed as Manchester United boss if he is backed properly by his club’s hierarchy.
He wrote, “I think that if he has the wind in his sails and the correct support from the new recruitment structure that Manchester United now have, I think he can be successful. But in terms of players, I think that they’re all up for sale.
“I think that every single player – Casemiro, Amad [Diallo], [Marcus] Rashford or whoever it is – at this point in time should be available for sale until the time where Amorim has played them for 15 to 20 games and they’ve proven that they can produce consistent nine out of 10 performances.”
