De Bruyne receives three-year deal worth €17m to join new club
Outgoing Manchester City midfielder, Kevin de Bruyne has received a three-year deal worth €17m to join Napoli.
The 33-year-old is leaving Man City this summer as a free agent after the former Premier League champions decided not to extend his deal.
The Belgian had already given his green light to join Napoli after reaching agreement in principle with the Serie A champions.
However, according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Napoli had given De Bruyne a proposal deal that will be valid for three years.
Romano added that the deal worth €6m/net salary per year for first two seasons and a €5m/net for third season plus signing fee.
As a result, De Bruyne is now expected to announce his decision soon as he still also has a proposal from MLS side Chicago Fire on the table.
De Bruyne, who has already bid farewell to Man City, joined joined Pep Guardiola’s side from Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg in 2015.
