Barcelona winger Raphinha has named six players he believes can win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

According to Raphinha, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Barcelona duo Pedri and Lamine Yamal, Real Madrid trio Vinicius, Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappe are top contenders for the individual prize.

The Brazilian international noted that the six players are all having a great season for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

Speaking in a recent interview, Raphinha said (via Barca Universal):

“Players who are having a great season for the Ballon d’Or? Lamine, Salah, Mbappé… Vinicius’ numbers may be lower than last season, but for me he’s always there.

“Two underrated players who could have been included in the awards or at least considered are Pedri and Rodrygo.”

Raphinha is no doubt a contender for the Ballon d’Or this year.

The former Leeds star has already won two domestic trophies – Supercopa de España and Copa del Rey – with Barcelona this season.

The 28-year-old has scored 31 goals and provided 25 assists for the Blaugrana in 52 appearances across all competitions.
