The iconic Imo Concord Hotel, which is undergoing renovation, will be renamed Concord Hilton.
This was made known by the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma after he went on an inspection tour to check the level of renovation work going on in the hotel.
Uzodimma expressed satisfaction with the ongoing renovation of the iconic Imo Concorde Hotel, which is set to be renamed “Concord Hilton” under a strategic partnership with the world-class Hilton Group.
During the inspection of the renovation works, the governor commended the project team for their professionalism and dedication, highlighting the impressive pace of progress.
He said, “It is clear that every effort is being made to deliver a world-class facility.”
The rebranding to Concord Hilton, according to the governor, is expected to attract global attention and elevate the region’s status as a premium destination for tourism and business.
“As we advance with our strategic partnership with the globally renowned Hilton Group, I am excited about the transformative impact this collaboration will bring.
“Once renovations are completed, the hotel will be rebranded under the esteemed Hilton banner, signalling a new era of excellence in hospitality for our region.
“From my on-site observations, I am confident that the project is on track to meet the anticipated completion timeline.
“This alignment with our goals reflects the commitment of all stakeholders to uphold the highest standards.”
