U.S Airline Resumes Operations After Nationwide Disruptions.

The U.S airline, American Airline, has resumed all flights after resolving “a vendor technology issue” that led to the grounding of its flights nationwide on Tuesday morning.
The airline had announced grounding of its operations after experiencing an issue which caused a blow to travellers on christmas eve.
The Federal Aviation Administration in a statement said, “American Airlines is reporting a technical issue and has requested a nationwide ground stop.”
The airline said the decision was in consideration of the safety of its passengers.
“We’re currently experiencing a technical issue with all American Airlines flights,” the airline wrote in a post to X.
“Your safety is our utmost priority, once this is rectified, we’ll have you safely on your way to your destination.
“It’s all hands on deck as our team is working diligently to get customers where they need to go as quickly as possible,” the statement read.
However, in a statement on Tuesday afternoon, as reported by BBC, the airline said “A vendor technology issue briefly affected flights this morning.
“That issue has been resolved and flights have resumed. We sincerely apologize to our customers for the inconvenience this morning,” the statement stated.
American Airlines is one of the country’s top airlines and is the largest airline in the world by scheduled passengers carried, revenue passenger mile, and daily flights.
The airline handles more than 200 million passengers annually, with an average of more than 500,000 passengers daily. As of 2023, the company employs 103,200 staff members.
