Shettima, Ganduje, 21 APC Govs Receive Oborevwori, Okowa Monday

Vice President Kashim Shettima will be leading a powerful delegation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the party’s governors to Asaba, the Delta State capital on Monday.
The National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje will be leading other members in the party’s leadership, while Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, will be leading 20 other APC governors to the state.
They will be officially receiving Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, his predecessor, Ifeanyi Okowa and other defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.
Oborevwori and Okowa had, on Wednesday, moved the entire PDP structure in Delta State with them to the APC.
Media reports from Delta State on Sunday, indicated that some of the APC governors had arrived in the state earlier in the day ahead of the event.
Among the APC governors listed to have arrived the state for the event include those from Edo, Ekiti, Imo, Cross River, Kwara, Kogi, Ogun, Gombe, Katsina and Yobe.
Also, Ganduje and a former APC National Chairman, Senator Adams Oshiomhole are said to have already arrived for the event.
The remainder of the APC governors are expected to join others already on ground on Monday, reports indicated.
The event is scheduled to hold at the Cenotaph, Asaba, starting from 9:00 a.m.
