Serie A: Atalanta supporters labels Lookman ungrateful
Atalanta supporters have vented their anger on Ademola Lookman, after the Nigerian pushed to leave the club this summer.
The supporters labelled the winger “ungrateful” despite his integration into the Atalanta squad.
“No. 11 reintegrated but for us, you remain ungrateful,” read the banner displayed in Bergamo.
Lookman was engaged in a transfer standoff with Atalanta last month following La Dea’s refusal to allow him join Inter.
The 27-year-old submitted a transfer request and went AWOL to try and force the move.
He is in line to make his first appearance of the season against Torino.
