Rapper Falz Links President Tinubu Directly to National Hardship

Popular Nigerian rapper, actor, and activist Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name Falz, has offered a succinct and scathing critique of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, clearly attributing the nation’s current economic woes to the president.

In a recent interview with Soundcity, Falz stated that when President Tinubu’s name is mentioned, the word “hardship” instantly comes to mind, emphatically adding: “No elaboration.”

During the interview, the musician was asked what immediately came to mind when he heard President Tinubu’s name. That was his candid and unfiltered response.

“Hardship,” he replied bluntly. “No elaboration.” His brief response encapsulated the sentiments of many Nigerians struggling with the country’s current economic conditions.

Just last month, Falz voiced his deep dissatisfaction as President Tinubu marked his second year in office, claiming that Nigeria has “moved backwards” instead of progressing.

In an interview with Arise TV, he emphasised the absence of noticeable advancements, stating, “It goes without saying that, more than anything, we’ve moved backwards.” He added that there hasn’t been much visible or documented progress.
