NPFL: Niger Tornadoes eye victory over Bendel Insurance to extend unbeaten streak

Niger Tornadoes head coach Majin Mohammed said the team will build on last weekend’s impressive away performance when they take on Bendel Insurance on Sunday.

The Ikon Allah Boys stunned former champions Plateau United in Jos last Saturday.

The Minna club are unbeaten in the NPFL this season.

Niger Tornadoes will welcome Bendel Insurance to the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium on Sunday.

Mohammed stated that the home support will serve as an added advantage to his team.

“We’ll build on our away win, utilising our home advantage to secure a win for our fans,” Mohammed stated in a pre-match interview.

“We have used the last couple of days to get use to the playing turf, the players are focused, the spirit in camp is high.

“They are aware of the mindset the away team is coming with, knowing fully well that we defeated them at home last season and we are equally prepared.”
