Real Madrid boss, Xabi Alonso, has singled out two of his players for special praise following the Los Blancos’ LaLiga 2-0 win over Espanyol on Saturday.
The two Real Madrid players are Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde.
Recall that Alonso watched as Real Madrid defeated Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabeu, thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe and Éder Militão.
Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Alonso said both Tchouaméni and Valverde delivered a very strong performance against the visitors.
“Tchouaméni and Valverde, once again, delivered a very strong performance and gave the team great control over the flow of the game,” Alonso said.
Real Madrid’s next game is against Levante in the LaLiga in their next game on Tuesday.
Alonso’s side now sits at the top of the LaLiga table with 15 points from five games.
