Imo Governor Sacks Commissioner For Justice

The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has ordered the immediate sack of the State’s Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice, C.O.O. Akaolisa.
Akaolisa’s sack was contained in a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation, and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, on Monday.
The governor, according to the statement, ordered Akaolisa to hand over all government properties in his custody to the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, with immediate effect.
The statement reads this: “The Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, has approved the immediate removal from the office of the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr C.O.C. Akaolisa.
“The erstwhile commissioner has been directed to hand over all government property under his care to the State Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, immediately.”
