The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will discover their group stage opponents at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile on Thursday.

The draw ceremony will be held in Chile’s capital, Santiago.

24 teams will compete in the tournament, which is being staged from 27 September to 19 October.

The nations will be drawn into six groups of four teams.

The Flying Eagles qualified for the competition after finishing third at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup earlier this month.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side have been placed in Pot 1 with New Zealand, France, Ukraine, Argentina, and Mexico.
