Hojlund vs Gyökeres: Mitchell predicts striker to score most goals next season

Former Manchester United defender, Demetri Mitchell, has expressed the confidence that Rasmus Hojlund will score more goals than Arsenal’s new signing, Viktor Gyökeres, next season.

He said the striker will have a better season than Gyökeres who recently joined the Gunners from Sporting CP.

Ruben Amorim and his Manchester United side are now looking for other options after the Swede chose Arsenal over a move to Old Trafford.

Arsenal and Tottenham played their preseason friendly Hong Kong, China on Thursday and the Gunners were defeated by Spurs.

It was in that game that Gyökeres made his debut as a substitute, coming on for Kai Havertz in the second half. But he did not live up to the expectations of the Red Devils fans.

Speaking after the match, Demetri Mitchell made a gloomy prediction regarding Gyökeres first season in the English top flight league.

He wrote on X, “Gonna put it out there Hojlund will have a better season than Gyokeres.

“He has to get off to a good start; if he doesn’t score for a few, he’s done for.”
