Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria, KACRAN, has condemned the recent brutal murder of the Emir of Gobir, Isa Bawa by bandits in Sokoto State.

The Association through its National President, Khalil Mohd Bello is the latest Northern group to condemn the act in a statement released on Friday.

It said in the statement “The tragic event, where the Emir was kidnapped and killed despite a ransom payment of over 60 million Naira, stands as a grave concern for all Nigerians.

“The act of kidnapping, killing, and demanding ransom is utterly condemnable and unacceptable in 21st-century Nigeria”, Bello said.

Bello, on behalf of the KACRAN, urged Sokoto State and Federal governments to act swiftly in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

He said restoring confidence in the government’s ability to protect its citizens is paramount.

He, however, called on bandits to cease their criminal activities, reminding them that justice will ultimately prevail through law enforcement or divine intervention.
