FRSC Recovers Pistol As Auto-Crash Claims One In Nasarawa
An auto-crash around the Garaku axis by Maran Gate/Sabo Gida in Nasarawa State has claimed one life and injured five others who sustained varying degrees of injuries.
The accident involved a Toyota Camry with registration number KJA 201AC VEH. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Daniel Agbo.
The unit commander, Federal Road Safety Commission, Garaku, ACC NE Obande, told THE WHISTLER on Saturday that the commission’s operatives responded swiftly on getting the distress call.
He said that the items recovered from the accident scene included three handsets, one laptop, a bag containing a police ID card belonging to one CPL, Daniel Agbo, and one pistol.
Quoting him, “The injured victims were taken to the hospital for medical attention while the dead victim was deposited at a mortuary in Garaku.
“The recovered pistol was handed to the police for safekeeping and necessary action. Other items recovered were handed over to the duty room staff for safekeeping.”
