Diri Lauds Outgoing GOC 6 Division Over Peace, Stability In Bayelsa

Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has lauded the outgoing General Officer Commanding 6 Division, Major General J.H Abdulsalam over his contributions to peace and stability.

Diri said Abdulsalam served Bayelsa state meritoriously,

The governor stated this when he received the GOC in Yenagoa, to formally bid him farewell, as he was transferred to the Defence Headquarters.

“It is with mixed feelings today to know that a very fine officer of the Nigerian Military is leaving us in Bayelsa to Abuja.

During his time, he gave leadership and worked seamlessly with the state government to make sure peace is maintained in the state.

“My dear brother, let me on behalf of the government and good people of Bayelsa State, thank you profusely for your professionalism and service to Bayelsa State. We pray for God’s blessings and promotion, even as you continue to serve our country”, Governor Diri stated.
