Kwara United captain Afeez Musa says that they want a positive result in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first-leg tie against Asante Kotoko.

The Harmony Boys will trade tackles with the Porcupine Warriors at the Accra Sports Stadium in Accra on Sunday.

Musa stated that the players are focused on the game.

“We know what is at stake and we are focused on securing a positive result in Ghana.” Musa told Kwara United’s media.

Kwara United will be facing a Western African opponent for the second time on the continent.

The Harmony Boys played against Nigerien side Douanes de Niamey in 2023 where they reach the second round of the Confederation Cup.
