Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has appointed Abdulwahab Mohammed as his Senior Special Assistant on Communication.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued on Friday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado.
According to the statement, Abdulwahab is an experienced journalist who previously worked with the Hausa Service of the Voice of America (VOA).
“His appointment reflects Governor Bala Mohammed’s commitment to strengthening the state’s communication machinery and deepening government engagement with the public,” the statement read.
He added that Abdulwahab is expected to help in projecting the government’s activities and policies, increase public awareness, and support the promotion of good governance.
