Anambra Innovation Week Ends With N100m Reward For Tech Talents
The Anambra state Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has empowered Tech talents with N100m cash rewards after completing their innovation training.
The Anambra Innovation Week, an initiative that brought together tech giants from across Nigeria and beyond, has ended in grand style.
The grand finale of the week-long event was held at the International Convention Centre, Awka, on Friday.
In his address, Governor Soludo, described the event as timely and aligned with his administration’s determination to make Anambra an innovation hub.
Governor Soludo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transforming Anambra State from a departure lounge to a destination point.
He expressed gratitude to participants from 24 states across Nigeria, emphasizing that his government is intentional about positioning Anambra as a leader in technology and innovation in the country.
Speaking at the event, the Co-founder of AI in Nigeria, Mr. Ehia Ehabo, commended the intellectual capabilities of African youth.
He noted that even amidst challenges, there are numerous opportunities for the continent’s teeming population.
Earlier, the Special Adviser on Innovation and Business Incubation, Ms. Chinwe Okoli, thanked Governor Soludo for supporting the initiative to raise Anambra’s digital tribe.
