African Prudential To Maximise Investor Returns With Fixes Income Securities

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of African Prudential Plc, Mrs. Catherine Nwosu, has stated that the company will maintain its focus on the fixed-income market to leverage high-interest rates and ensure consistent returns for investors.

Speaking virtually during the company’s “Investor Relations Call” regarding the unaudited half-year results and accounts for the period ending June 2024, Nwosu highlighted that African Prudential, the only listed registrar company on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), is well-positioned to capitalize on new market opportunities, grow its revenue, and enhance customer satisfaction.

She added, “We will continue to concentrate on the fixed income market, capitalizing on high-interest rates to provide consistent returns to our investors.

“Our engagement with investors is of utmost importance, and we will continue to employ a multi-channel approach to deliver a best-in-class customer experience across all our touchpoints.

“We will consistently excite our clients by providing proactive, data driven insights for their business growth.

“We will strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders to drive profitability and increase market penetration. Cost optimization is key to our growth, and will continue to drive our cost down, maintaining quality products and services.

“Risk management is also very key to us to drive our core business through leveraging a robust risk management framework.”

Nwosu disclosed that the company will launch an additional range of new products and innovative services, adding that these offerings are designed to the diverse needs and expectations of its investors.

“We will continually pursue operational efficiency through process reengineering and automation to enhance operational efficiency, aiming to maximize service delivery, boost our customer satisfaction and improve our revenue generation position,” she added.

African Prudential declared N2.03bn net operating income in H1 2024, about 24 per cent increase from N1.63bn reported in H1 2023.
