Tottenham vs West Ham – Predicted lineup and team news
Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United this afternoon, seeking to snap a winless start to 2026.
They also aim to integrate marquee signing Conor Gallagher into the starting XI immediately. Thomas Frank’s side endured a turbulent week. However, the club hierarchy publicly backed him despite early cup exits. The arrival of Gallagher from Atletico Madrid signals a statement of intent. The England midfielder should enter the lineup instantly. He adds leadership and work rate to an injury-decimated squad.
Tottenham Team News
Thomas Frank manages a “skinned” squad due to extensive unavailability. Richarlison became the latest high-profile casualty. He misses seven weeks with a hamstring injury sustained against Aston Villa. He joins James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Mohammed Kudus in the treatment room. This leaves Spurs critically short of attacking options.
Consequently, Frank hands a debut to Conor Gallagher in the number 10 role. Xavi Simons and Mathys Tel support him on the flanks. Additionally, Cristian Romero returns to central defence following a suspension. Furthermore, Yves Bissouma provides midfield cover after his AFCON stint. Randal Kolo Muani leads the line as the club searches for a replacement for Richarlison.
Tottenham Predicted Lineup
Tottenham Hotspur predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Gray, Palhinha; Simons, Gallagher, Tel; Kolo Muani
