Team News
Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs have been hit with a “crushing” blow as top scorer Richarlison is sidelined for up to seven weeks with a hamstring injury. He joins a crowded treatment room that includes Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, and Rodrigo Bentancur. However, Cristian Romero returns from suspension, and Yves Bissouma is available following AFCON duty. All eyes will be on Conor Gallagher, who is expected to make his debut following a £34.7m move from Atletico Madrid.
West Ham United
The Hammers are monitoring Lucas Paquetá (back) and Mateus Fernandes, both of whom are late doubts for the derby. Konstantinos Mavropanos is set to miss out with a neck injury, while El Hadji Malick Diouf is away for the AFCON final with Senegal. In a boost for the defence, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is back and likely to start at right-back. In the dugout, Nuno has bolstered his staff with the appointment of experienced Spanish coach Paco Jémez.
Form
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham’s recent form has been concerning, with the team still searching for its first victory of 2026 after a series of poor results and a premature exit from the FA Cup. The North London side has struggled for consistency at home, having won just four of their last 24 Premier League matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Notably, Thomas Frank currently holds a win percentage of just 38.7% since taking over the managerial reins.
West Ham United
West Ham arrive in North London mired in the relegation zone, sitting seven points away from safety. The Hammers are currently enduring a 10-game winless streak in the Premier League, their longest such run since 2007. Furthermore, Nuno’s side has struggled immensely in local rivalries this season, losing all six of their Premier League London derbies played so far in 2025-26.
Predicted Lineups
Tottenham Hotspur predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Gray, Palhinha; Simons, Gallagher, Tel; Kolo Muani
West Ham United predicted XI: Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Scarles; Magassa, Souček; Bowen, Pablo, Summerville; Castellanos
