Ghanaian fans are calling for Nana Akua Addo’s standout AMVCA outfit to be preserved in the country’s national museum.
The fashion icon turned heads at the just concluded Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards in Lagos with a silver, architectural-inspired gown modeled after Cologne Cathedral in Germany. The bold look quickly became one of the most talked-about of the night and further cemented her reputation for dramatic red-carpet fashion.
Impressed by the design, fans are now urging that the outfit be placed in a Ghanaian museum as a lasting tribute to the awards show and to Ghana’s presence on the global fashion stage.
“Ghana needs to worship @nanaakuaaddo. This dress should be in the museum for every visitor to see. This dress alone is putting Ghana on the map,” Instagram user @com4fort wrote.
