Former Big Brother Naija winner Ilebaye has cried out for help over alleged domestic abuse in a disturbing video shared during an Instagram Live session.
The reality star, whose full name is Ilebaye Precious Odiniya, appeared visibly distressed in the now-viral clip, with what looked like a swollen face as she repeatedly pleaded for help.
While crying in the video, she said, “Nigerians, help me, I need to go. I need to leave this house; I’m being locked up. I’m tired of the assault; please come and help me.”
An unidentified man was also reportedly seen in the background during the livestream, while Ilebaye screamed and attempted to escape the situation.
Reacting to the incident, fellow BBNaija star Tacha called for urgent intervention through her Instagram Story, urging people in Abuja to help locate and rescue Ilebaye.
“I hear people say it is her father. Even if it is her father, does that give her the right to beat her?
“I really just want to know who is in Abuja right now that can take the police to Ilebaye’s house. Ilebaye’s face has been ruined. I don’t even know who did it, but from the video I have seen, they are being really brutal,” Tacha said.
The incident has since triggered concern online, with many fans calling on security agencies in the Federal Capital Territory to investigate the matter and ensure Ilebaye’s safety.
