The agreement was signed recently in Cape Town and marks a strategic step to strengthen Afrobeats’ presence on the global stage. For both the artist and the label, it signals a new chapter in their shared mission to discover, develop, and elevate African talent for international audiences.
Backed by an experienced team of music executives, Astra Luvian Music says it is committed to positioning Oscar Bankz as one of Africa’s next breakout stars.
“This signing reflects our vision for the future of African music,” a spokesperson for the label said. “Oscar Bankz brings talent, originality, and star potential. We’re proud to welcome him to the family and excited for what’s ahead.”
The artist is currently preparing his first project under the label, set for release this summer. The body of work is expected to introduce his sound to audiences across Africa, Europe, and beyond.
As Afrobeats continues its global rise, the partnership between Astra Luvian Music and Oscar Bankz is poised to make a notable impact in the industry.
