Ola Aina remains optimistic the Super Eagles will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, DAILY POST reports.

The Super Eagles suffered a setback in their bid to qualify for the mundial after they were held to a 1-1 draw by the Warriors of Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday.

Éric Chelle side remain in fourth position in Group C, six points adrift leaders South Africa.

Despite the setback, Aina backed the Super Eagles to still make it to the mundial.

“We will make this World Cup, chill,” the Nottingham Forest defender wrote on Snapchat.

The Super Eagles will host Rwanda when the qualifiers resume in September.
