WAFU B Women’s Champions League draw gets new date

The 2025 WAFU B Women’s Champions League draw has been postponed to Tuesday, 5 August.

The draw ceremony was initially scheduled for Tuesday, 29 July.

Bayelsa Queens will flag Nigeria’s flag at the biennial competition.

The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions will know their group stage opponents five days before the start of the competition.

Cote d’Ivoire will host the WAFU B Women’s Champions tourney for the second consecutive edition.

Bayelsa Queens will be looking to become the first Nigerian club to win the competition twice after the feat in 2022.

The winner of the tournament will represent the zone in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
