Unity Cup: Super Eagles deserved victory over Ghana — Chelle
Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has said his side deserved the win over the Black Stars of Ghana.
Nigeria defeated their eternal rivals 2-1 in their semi-final fixture of the Unity Cup in London on Sunday.
The Super Eagles dominated the first half, and scored twice through Cyriel Dessers and Semi Ajayi.
Ghana responded after the break, reducing the deficit through Thomas Asante.
“We played a great first half, second half we were tired,” Eric Chelle said after the match.
“We deserved our victory, but we have to improve.”
Nigeria and Jamaica will battle for first position at the Gtech Community Stadium, Brentford, London on Saturday.
